Found old receipt for CBR from 1998

Cleaning out the basement and came across an old receipt from Caribbean Beach resort over July 4th week in 1998. We paid $144. per night ($160 incl room fees/taxes) for a std view room. Thought it was interesting that the rates have stayed so consistent for 7 years - and back then there were no codes or discounts that I can remember (except maybe ap?) - and I remember that we were thrilled to get such a great rate compared to what we had been paying before the mods were built!

When my husband and I toured DVC our agent told us that the hotel rooms double in price every 9 years. We definately did not believe him. Now I wish I would have had your receipt to prove him wrong!

I remember staying at CBR in 1994 for $59 a night. We called the day of the ressie and that was the rate they gave us.

I remember the rates of $59.00 a night at CBR...we changed our ressies from 3 nights concierge at Polynesian to a week and a half at CBR.

We stayed at CBR the first year it was built. I believe rooms were $59, $69 and $79 to start with. I also remeber ads for $69, $79 and $89 soon after.
