I was at visiting a site that listed all the links to State abandoned property. I found some for me and I really hope it's what I think it is because it'll pay my deposit for SSR! LOL
Check it out....you may find some long lost money. This is the second time in 4 years I've found some. The first was an insurance escrow I didn't even know existed. That was worth $140. Make sure to check your maiden names too! That's what mine was under.
I just wish the darn state offices were open today so I can find out! But, I'll know tomorrow!!!!
Here's the link. Make sure to check every state you ever lived in. Also, someone else had said to check every state because sometimes it can be listed under where the place of business is. For instance you live in one state but an old insurance company or mortgage company was based in another.
