Found an AWESOME Scrapbook Store!!

HI Everyone! I just returned from 3 days in Atlanta for several travel trade shows. On the way back we stopped off in Chattanooga for lunch. I found an AWESOME scrapbook store!!
It's The Crop Shop and near Hampton Shopping Center. It claims to be the largest scrapbook store in the Southeast and I believe it!! I thought I had died and gone to Scrapbook Heaven!!
If you get a chance to go, GO! Run! Don't Walk and plan to spend some time and money (of course!). The store is set up by
topic--Disney/sports/babies/travel (my favorite spot!) etc...I'm STILL working on my Disney album and found LOTS of unusual paper, stickers and die cuts that I had not found at other stores. I wish that I had known about this store before now as she has lots of items that I've seen only on line or not at all. This was so great, I just had to share it. Hi Ladies--Will try to answer 2 questions in one email.......

Franne---This store is not off I-95 it's off 75. Depending on which way you're coming from, you stay on I-75. Look for the HAMILTON PLACE MALL. It's a HUGE shopping center. It's MAYBE 5 mins off the exit for the mall. But the store is not in the mall.....it's down the road and I'm sorry I can't remember the name of the road. I got one of the frequent buyer cards and there is a website listed but when I got on it, it's more like a search engine so I don't know what's up w/that. There also is a toll free number so I'll list all the info I have on it at the bottom of this reply. You could probably do a search on mapquest under crop shop in Chattanooga, TN and then get better directions that way.

Hey Franne---I just looked at the BIG map. If ya'll are coming down 95 from NJ, you won't be anywhere near TN. I-95 runs through No & So Carolina, GA into FL. Unless ya'll come back up 75 through Atlanta and then into Chattanooga and back over
toward the mountains, you won't be anywhere near this store. If you can talk DH into doing that on the way back home, that's a good choice. The exit where this store is at, is a BIG exit w/alot of nice restaurants and hotels. It'd be a good stop for the night. I know there's a Hampton Inn, a LaQuinta and I think a Sleep Inn here. It'd also give you a great opportunity to see some beautiful country side! Especially if ya'll are coming thorugh in Oct. The leaves will be turning and north of GA into TN and on up into Knoxville, and the Applachian Mtns are absolutely beautiful. The Blue Ridge Parkway runs along this way too which would be a NICE area to go into. I don't know how much time you have but if you have a couple of days to enjoy the countryside, this is a great place to do it. Have been in this area many times and LOVE it.

Oh goody, we either come up or down 65 or 75 but heck on our way home if we are coming up 75 I just may have to stop!

bskts4bj-----yea, I know......I couldn't get it to work for me either.
So, I just called them and the lady I spoke w/said the website is down right now and not working. Uh, yea, we know that!
I asked her when would it be up and working. She said give it 2 or 3 weeks but if you are looking for something in particular you can send them an email and they'll reply to it. The email address is cropshop@comcast.net. You can also call them toll free at
866-CROP-SHO(P). They're very nice and helpful!

Oh, also found the street........they're on Hamilton Place. Those that are coming through Chattanooga you can get on Map Quest and get directions. There's also a store in Franklin at the Cool Springs Galleria. That's directly on I-65. My understanding is it's not as large of a store as the one in Chattanooga but still has some great things. Honestly, I saw items here that I've NEVER seen at any other stores and only online through Makingmemories.com or scrapyourtrip etc.
