Yes- I read about that this week, we need to get moving around our house so that we can sell ours-I'd love to sell first so we can be an attractive buyer but it worries me-what if we don't find "our house"?

I think lots of people who were waiting til next year and a 'better market' will list their homes because of this extra incentive. After April 30, I'm guessing the market will tank for both listings and buyers again because everyone who was waiting will have taken action to get the credit. We're moving our sale up to list February 1st in an effort to sell by April 30. We originally were planning to wait til late March to list but it's a whole different ball game now.
We're also making fewer improvements in our home(and our asking price will reflect it) because we think people will be able to see themselves using the credits for home improvement.
