I was in Lowes this weekend and found the coolest thing, they are paper "glasses" like the old 3-d ones and when you look through them at Christmas lights you see either Santa, a snowman, or snowflakes around the lights. They were $1.97 each. I picked some up for my kids, but I think they would also be great to add to a "looking at lights" gift basket I've seen some posters mention.

They were on a little cardboard display in the middle of the Christmas Trees.

They used to give the out at the Studios for Osborne lights. They are way cool.

My MIL would love that! lol I am going to head over there tomorrow and see if I can get some for us all. We are going to look at the Christmas lights this weekend or next.

i'm gonna go see if i can find some, too. we had some at the MK a few months ago and everyone really enjoyed watching the fireworks with them.

They give them out when you drive through the Hershey Sweet Lights. They are really neat. They would be great for Osborne Lights.

I have several pairs of Mickey Head ones from en event at Epcot a few years ago. Love them!

One year, I made gift bags and I included:

a homemade Christmas music CD
a pair of these glasses for each kid in the family
to-go coffee cups with lids & hot chocolate packets (for each person in the family)
candy canes

I wrote a note about putting the kids in their PJ's, grabbing blankets, & hopping in the car with hot chocolates, to ride around the neighborhood, listening to the CD and looking at lights.

I ordered about 50 of them from an online store for a pretty cheap price (just googled around. They were probably less than $1 a pair, but this was a few years ago).

I gave the gift bags out as thank-you gifts to several neighborhood families who helped my family out when I broke my leg. I got the idea on this board! People loved the gift bags.
