Found $100 bill in the dryer today!!!

(don't EVEN make a comment about the fact that YES, I do laundry - sometimes)

Anyway, a rolled up, $100 bill right on the lint trap!! Now, you have to understand that I KNEW this didn't belong to ANYONE in this house. We withdraw all cash from an ATM so, nothing larger than a $20 bill. IF DS received one for Grad/Conf, I know it's been spent since he's been withdrawing from me for a while now (same ATM). The only thing I could think was DH's work-pool winnings (UNannounced to me so, it was gonna be MINE!!) But alas, since it was DS's swimsuit & towel in the dryer, I started with him. He didn't know anything about it until I mentioned the swimsuit. Then, he remembered it was our neighbor's $100! (I was BUMMED beyond belief, you can imagine) She asked him to hold it for her (I know Stupid, why on earth are you swimming with $100 but...) he had a pocket and, obviously she didn't. So, she spent the last 2 days looking for her money (she forgot) and, I, honestly, turned it over to her.

Some days it just doesn't PAY to do laundry!!

This wasn't about my honesty but, my misfortune! at the money NOT being DH's winnings!! Then, I could've kept it! But, to take a 16yo's $100, that she earned from babysitting I'm sure, I could never do that. Besides, she's my DD's babysitter!
