Yes, it bother me. Sure I slip up occassionally too in extreme situations. I even at one point in my career said something to my boss about his use of expectives in my presence (talk about shaky job situation LOL). Thank goodness for the offensive situations clause in our employee manual. He understood and tried to make an effort. After all it was very unprofessional. He could not speak a full sentence with a couple F and S words thrown in I always told kids including mine who are now in college, "if you cannot say it in front of your grandmother it must be wrong".
I too work around kids twice a week, and they follow by example. Once I slipped up when I dropped some hot coffee in front of the kids.
I apoligized to them and told them how wrong I was. I think some of parents were impressed that I made the effort.
