Is there any sort of ticket that you can purchase that will allow you to go to the front on all the rides in the park?

I know about fastpass but was wondering if there is anything better?

Not aware at Disney, but if you stay in a Universal hotle you get FITL passes and can go on all of the rides the same as Disneys fastpass anytime during the day, you can sometimes buy this Express cards for an extra price at the park entrance, at DLP they have given us four free fastpasses but i cannot remember anything like universal.

We are staying offsite unfortunatly but we are willing to buy these passes, i heard that you can buy them at universal but i just want to be sure.

Do you think we will need them? We are visiting april/may 2007.

Has anybody experienced the queues at this time of the year?

Cheers

Hiya

The Universal Express passes can be bought at the ticket office at the park. You can buy an Express pass for one or both the parks for a small extra charge. If your going in easter then the crowds will be pretty big, but may is usually not that busy. I believe the Express pass only gives you the ability to use it once per ride.

You can buy express passes at Universal , the term FOTL (Front Of The Line) can be misleading as technically you can still find you have to wait albeit probably shorter lines in the 'express queue'.

If you plan your days and get to the Universal parks early you will probably find that the queue's do not warrant buying the express passes anyway - generally if you are missing Easter you are visiting at one of the best times of the year for a decent combination of low crowds & nice weather.

Yes you see them advertise it in the mornings at the entrance to upgrade, but they have a limited amount otherwise it wouldnt work, I like the universal hotel cards its so easy and included.

we are going from the 27th of april until the 11th of may, i dont think that clases with easter but im not sure when easter is next year!

Can anyone confirm?

just to add my two cents, it only cost us 100 dollars more to stay on site as it would to buy passes and expresses for our stay, well obviously we are staying at hrh, although we have up graded to club(an extra 120 dollars). they have some interesting offers that might be worth considering

Yes I am there in two weeks at the Royal Pacific so i will use the FIL Pass. Its only small (bucks0 to get on quickly and out of the heat, its worth it, RPR is also very nice.

Have you bought a package which includes entry to the parks, Tracy? When you book a room at one of the Universal resorts, you automatically get FOTL privileges, but not park entry. I'm sure you've either bought a package, or I've misinterpreted your post, but I'd hate for you to have a big shock when you arrive.

one of the stories about is that disney will offer primium fastpasses based on the type of hotel you are staying at.Value 2-3 per day Mod 3-5 per day delux 5-10 per day.All per person staying in room nothing confirmed only a rummor
