We are going to be in Disney June 6-11th and wanted to take a day or two to do US/IOA- There are three adults and two kids. Out of the group of us, 1 has severe neck problems, 1 hates rollercoasters and 1 (child) is in a wheelchair. That leaves 1 adult and 1 child who have the "option" to go on everything.

How do we get FOTL passes if we dont stay in a Universal Hotel? How much are they? I am assuming it is worth it for the beginning of June-

Could we plan to do both parks in a day or a day and a half? or will we still need 2 days? I know that a lot of the rides are not handicapped accessible.

Thanks

You can get free express passes from the machines. You just put your park ticket in and choose a time to return for your express ride. These passes sometimes run out by the afternoon. OR...you can order the express plus pass for a fee and get one express entrance on each ride. You can order them at the Universal website, or wait until you get there and hope some are available for sale.

Let me make sure I got this straight.

There are 2 express passes-- Express and Express Plus

Express is kinda like "Fast Pass" at Disney. It comes with your ticket. You go to the ride swipe your ticket, get a return time and wait up to approx 15 min to ride when your time comes. This comes free with admission.

Express Plus is "Front of the Line" Woo hoo. Do not pass GO. Don't hafta wait at all. VIP treatment. Nyah Nyah Nyah to all the other folks waiting! This comes with admission if you are staying at an on site hotel, or you can buy it for additional $$ ($30?)

Do I have this right?

One additional question. I think I read somewhere that you have to buy the Express Plus at the park on the day you're going to use it. Can I buy my universal tix in advance, and add-on later? Or do I have to buy the tickets and the Express Plus together at the same time, at the park?

Thanks
Diane.

Well, the woo hoo part is limited to one express pass per ride. That is where it differs from what the resort guests receive. If you stay at the resorts, you get unlimited FOTL.

You do not need to buy the express pass plus with your ticket. They can be purchased online or at the park. Remember, quantities are limited.
