FOTL pass in June

Hey guys,

Have any of you used the FOTL pass when the park is really packed? All of the guide books say go toward the end of the week if you go in the busy season, which we have to do this year. Anyway, we wanted to start our week there, and this means the worst crowds. Is staying at the resort and having the FOTL thing going to work major wonders or should I rearrange our itenary?

We have been at Universal/IOA during the July 4th holiday the past two years. The parks get crowded, but by staying on-site and having the automatic express access, we have done very little waiting at the attractions. It's the best perk ever!!
