Do you need FOTL pass in October? Trying to decide between HRH and Sapphire resorts. We would be there either the first or second week of October.

If you get to the park at opening, or early entry, and have a game plan you should be fine. The week of Columbus Day will be slightly busier, but still not horrible

i go during that time period since october 2002.
each year i see crowds grow.

it's busy on the weekends and and on columbus day.

if you don't have ee, go early

Thanks guys. Yes, I think it is getting more crowded each year in October as many schools now have extended fall breaks. We will be there on our fall break. We have the option of the week before or the week after Columbus day. Is one week better than the other?

Ive done both of those time periods

With fall breaks and Florida hell week, hard to say which week is lighter for crowds

Do you see any difference in the room rates for both of those weeks?
Sometimes I use that to help pick out my stay dates

every year, we find that the "october secret" is out a little bit more than the previous years.

yes, crowds are growing, but October is still a time of year when you can do without Express on most days.

As previously said, getting there early and having a sensible touring strategy will let you do a lot before lunch time. Then take advantage of what I call "money time" (aka the last 2 hours before closing) but october will see HHN and shorter operating hours, so it may not always be possible to take advantage of lower crowds close to closing time.

be there early, or get a room at RPR. But either way, you should do fine

sorry dbl post.

the best indicator seems to be the price of express.
on the ticket addon page, look at the pricing of express for each day. The higher the price, the bigger the crowds.

You can always buy Express park for one of your park days if you feel like you need it to get to all your must do's.
