FOTL Change Suggestion

Like most I am sorry to hear of the change but I can understand why. I do have a suggestion. We were there in February during Presidents week, a busy time. I found that if we got to the park when it opened and went to a popular ride like Hulk, we were told we did not need the express line as there were no waits. I would suggest not using your hotel card when you first get there but go through the regular lines then go again and use your express option. I would think you could do Hulk and Spiderman 2 times each within the first 30-45 minutes the park is open. Actually after we rode H and SM a few times we moved on to Dudley Doo Right and rode that three times without once using express as there were really no lines. The key is getting there when the park opens. By the time we left the park around noon the waits were then an hour or so on the popular rides. Just a suggestion. We do intend to go back and stay at the HRH because we enjoyed it so much and you can't beat the ability to walk to everything. Let's hope they don't place further restrictins on use down the line.

Actually, you can do Spider-Man and the Hulk at opening several times. If the ropes drop before 9 am, you can have a short wait for each of the rides. Spider-Man had a 5-10 minute wait at opening. Hulk tends to have a short line too at opening. During the day, though, all bets are off and the lines get long really fast.

When I visited IOA last week, I saw people using their keys when the wait for rides were 0-5 minutes. I know people feel priviledged to use their keys, but I would think that you could save your keys for when it really matters, like when the line gets very long.
