FOTL and UOG

We will be going to Universal next week and we are staying at the Royal Pacific Hotel (onsite). I know that gives us FOTL priviledges. My question is this, is there any reason to use the touring plan in the Unofficial Guide to WDW (Sehlinger) if you have FOTL? It would seem to me to be silly to criss cross the park, to do attractions in a specific order, if you can get on every ride with a minimal wait just touring ad hoc. Any opinions?

No. FOTL is great and lets you tour at your own leisurely pace. Express line can get long at the Mummy, so make sure you do that early for multiple riding opportunities.

Agreed. With FOTL it definitely does not apply.

The only thing you would need to plan is if you wanted to ride the front row of Hulk and Dueling Dragons. Then just go early and ride them first. Other than that, just relax and enjoy.

If you have kids in your party, you'll also want to ride Pteranodon Flyers at IOA first thing in the morning. There is no FOTL and the lines get long quickly.
