Forward vs Aft Cabins?

Is there a difference in forward cabins vs aft cabins? Last time we cruised, we were way aft (only 2-3 past ours). Next time, we'll probably only get 1 verandah stateroom, and I was thinking getting a cat 8 instead of an 11, but with the 8, the cabin would be forward. I'm actually thinking staterooms 6522 & 6532 - where are the muster stations for these rooms? Since we were aft last time, we were in Animator's Palate (really liked being able to stay inside & sit down).

we like staying forward, closer to the adult pool, spa, nite clubs, this cuts down on a lot of walking. we're on the july 10, magic and have a cat 8 forward, and we're on the july 4 wonder, cat 11, forward. we stayed aft once and found ourselves doing a lot of back and forth most of the day, only came in handy for going to dinners.
