Forum needs a new name!

Since the current promotion is no longer "Give A Day, Get A Disney Day", shouldn't the name of this sub-forum be titled
"Disney Promotions and Celebrations--Current Promotion: Let The Memories Begin"?

I have suggested to the Moderators that either this subforum be renamed, or, even better, eliminated.

This subforum was started for the Year of A Million Dreams, to discuss the special gifts and awards given to people. Then it was changed for the "Free On Your Birthday" promotion and over a year ago to the "Give A Day" promotion. Currently there are no similar programs so there really is no need for the subforum.

This would not eliminate the existing threads, it would put them into the higher-level Theme Parks Attractions and Strategies Forum. This would be in line with the last year's elimination of the Hurricane Katrina subforum of the Community Board.

But I agree that there is no longer a need for the subforum. If, in the future, Disney World comes up with a promotion that is similar in nature it would really not be difficult to put in a new subforum.

From a technical standpoint, the four Moderators of the forum would have to jointly request, to the Webmasters, that the subforum be eliminated.
