Can someone tell me the name of the park that the old fort wilderness trailers are?I know it's casa de something. If you have the web address that would be even better.Thanks.

Interesting! I had no idea they recycled those things. Wonder how they are holding up?

Wow. We stayed in the trailers back in the 90's. I remember we had a newly refurbished one..at that time. I don't remember them looking like the ones pictured on the web site. Same exterior, and the murphy bed is the same..but the paneling looks different from what I remember and placement of the tv as well. The ones in FW also had the bunks in the bedroom....looks like they have a dresser in the spot where the bunks used to be.
Rates don't seem too bad considering it's a yearly rental...but I'm curious as to how the units have held up over time.
Anyone stayed in them...or seen them in person, and know how they're holding up these days?:confused3

I've decided this is where I'm going live and then die. As this is the closest you can get to retiring at a Disney Property. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Unless you can afford @ $30,000 a year for rent, then you can retire to the Fort! Compared to a senior home that's really not too bad! $2500 a month, water, electric and cable provided.

Thanks for the tip Shan-man! I'm sure Mom would love it. Especially, since her current place just raised the cable rates:lmao:
I'm sure she would have lots of Fort friends, and plenty of visitors.

Bumping because this has raised a recent question.
