I put up about 55 photos on my site (with review), which I can't mention anymore. But here I am:
The Segways are all-terrain, and you do go on the path to the Wilderness Lodge - and on a nature trail, and different areas that I've covered walking. The tour is only in a test phase now, but I hope they will keep it. It's a LOT of fun!

I really appreciate all your information and effort.
I was happy to trail the second class (of 1!) to get some actual shots of training and such too.
but I found a terrific site where the new segway tour at Fort Wilderness is reviewed!!
Word of advice, don't get too confident on that thing. They will train you around cones, up and down hill, and how to properly dismount. I did excellent until it was time to get off. I was Bronco Mama for about 5 seconds before it finally bucked me off. And what does DH say..."Do it again, I want it on camera!"
In all seriousness, it was fun. We had the all-terrains which did great through the sand, gravel, mulch, and pot holes. Our path was the paved path to the WL trail and the sand trail back, along with a little looping, the horseback riding trail, and the walking path behind the 300 loop.
