Fort Wilderness - RV Stay

We are planning to go to WDW in October of 2018 and there is an option for us to stay in my dad's RV which is brand new and super nice but I'm not completely sold on the RV experience for a vacation. It'll be a short 4 night trip.

I tried to find an official FW thread, especially one that talked about staying in an RV and couldn't find one anywhere. Could someone direct me to an official thread or just let me know about your experience staying at FW? It would be a completely new resort for us. We've stayed at Pop, AS-Sp, and OKW in the past. I'm concerned about the fact that we wouldn't have a golf cart and in general just don't know what to expect. Any advice or info would be great appreciated.

Come on over to the camping forum for lot's of info. I love being at Fort Wilderness because it's like 2 vacations in one...camping in a beautiful campground with all the fun that entails and visiting the theme parks. Best of both worlds!!!
