Fort Wilderness Map? Suggestions?

Does anyone know where I can access a map of the Fort Wilderness campground and wilderness cabins?.......I booked vacation there and was looking for a map to see where specifically might be good to request......Anyone have any suggestions?.....We will have myself my DW and three disney kids (3,7,8)...............

Are you staying in the cabins or the campsites? For cabins I would stay in the 2600 loop.

Staying in the Fort Wilderness cabins.......stayed in them many years agwhen they were Terry Trailers (remember those days?) and they used to be all up front near Pioneer Hall but I've heard the've been moved farther out..........

Check out the "Camping at WDW" thread, it's very helpful.

We stayed in cabin loop 2400 and it was excellent. All the cabin loops are good. When checking in I would request a cabin 2 to 3 in from the loop entance, rather than a specific loop. Some of the loops are pretty big and you could end up kinda far from the main road. Unless of course you would rather be farther into the loop. We had 2 strollers and 5 kids from 1-9, so being closer to the main road was a great help to us.

The loops for the cabins are near the entrance to FtW now. Peacock Pass takes you by all the loops. Good point about the beginning (or end depending on how you look at it) of the loop. Loop 2600 is across the street from the pool, Loop 2500 is adjacent to the pool. 2600 is more secluded than 2500 but it is bigger - hence the need to close to the beginning. Both are right next to and across from the bus stop for those loops.

If you can swing it, get a golf cart for your stay. But we did it without one and it was OK. It just would have been a little more convenient with one.
