Fort Wilderness Discounts?

We are going to be at Fort Wilderness in June. Everyday I am calling to see if there is a AAA discount for a preferred campsite and they always say no. But today they told me that once a campsite gets cancelled it does not go back to a discounted rate only to rack rate. So pretty much I shouldn't call anymore is that right? Also she said they have not offered free dining for the campground or ticket upgrades. Is there just no chance of getting a discount other than AAA in Fort Wilderness? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

She is right that just because something is cancelled does NOT mean it goes back into inventory at the discounted rate.

That said I would keep trying. Disney marketing seems to continually 'update' the avaialble discounts based on how bookings are going. However, if the place is booked your chances are very slim.

As for Free Dining, nope not avaialble on a campsite. Disney figured that one out real quick. What's to stop me from renting a campsite for my family of four and getting free dining for that price..... Uh... they weren't willing to give that away.

There used to be AP discounts there, don't know about lately.

Just tried to get a AAA discount for November on the campground, they immediately said it is not available.

Did the math, price to stay in my RV (not including the extra $300 in fuel) at Ft. Wilderness is higher than a resort hotel with a water park just outside the gate. Getting harder and harder to keep swallowing the Disney pill. Luckily for Disney we hate hotels.

Anyone know of any other discounts on the Ft. wilderness campground? I see not even an AP gets one.

AAA and Disney stopped their relationship the beginning of this year so there won't be a discount with that anyway.

Campgrounds are typically excluded. They're already the cheapest option.
