Fort Wilderness Christmas Carriage ride

Looking for information for the Fort Wilderness sleigh/carriage ride. Just 2 adults going mid november. Looks as if the reservations cannot be made yet. Does anyone know when they open this up? Looking for reviews also of people that have done this. We are staying at the GF and looks like there is a boat to go over. Is that the most efficient way to go over and is the boat launch near the boarding area for the carriage? Also recommended places to eat near here. Sorry for so many questions but Never been to Fort Wilderness . Thank you

I don't know for certain, but I believe the carriage ride reservations can probably be made 60 days in advance, like ADRs (60 days seems to be the date for many reservation types). I do know that there is not a boat directly from GF to Ft. Wilderness. Instead, you need to travel to the MK by boat, monorail or footpath, then take the boat from there to FW. The FW dock is very close to the carriage boarding area.

There are four adults and a two year old in our party. They say four to a sleigh but has Has anyone ever had 4 adults and a child on one sleigh ride

When we went, they were firm, two adults and two children or 4 adults. I’d hate to book and find out 5 is too many and you’d lose that $$$ since. It’s not refundable the day of.

I had similar question to this wondering whether the under 3 which do not count for parks and dining count toward the carriage ride capacity. Anyone have any experience with this?
