Folks,

Many people come here looking month-in-and-month-out looking for movie listings and times at the Chip & Dale Campfire as well as any special recreational events. The movie listings were posted by Denise in the December trip report thread (helmet tap to her) and here are the special events planned.

Note the Golf Cart Parade on Christmas Eve at 4pm.

One of these days I'd like to experience a real Christmas at the Fort (was there in December once but not on the 25th).

Me too Bama Ed. We arrive on the 27th. It's hard to find a house sitter for the actual holiday, or else we would be there!

Me Three.... We were at the fort in December 2014 (I got to celebrate my Birthday on the 1st there) but never have we been there for actual Christmas.

1) We did it one year as a family.
2) It was interesting, but way to crowded in the Guest Areas.
3) Of course, I have worked WDW on Christmas Day MANY times - much better.
. . . crowds leave for the parks early and return late
. . . us employees stand around and gab most of the day waiting for a guest to come in and request help/service
. . . Christmas Day is one of the most boring days for us at The Desk

Our 1st Christmas there was my wife's last to the fort in 2010.. It took us several years to actually get a site for Christmas but it was more than worth it. My boys and I will always have that wonderful memory with her. At the time we didn't know she was ill.:worried: So Christmas at the fort or anytime now we visit will always have a special place in our hearts.:flower3: Before any trip well in advance we would look here for what's new and what others are doing.. she always loved this.. looking forward to our next adventure in April with my boys, now that my oldest can drive. He'll big a help driving down. see ya all there. :yay:pixiedust:

Nice to know you're going back, storyteller. Ya'll, I met storyteller and his kids on my April 2013 trip. I'll be there end of March 2016 so I will miss you by not much, buddy.
