Fort Wilderness - changed site location request

OK! After reading all weekend about campsite locations and seeing some photos (which really helped) - I asked for a location request change. We will see in middle of April when our reservations are if I was lucky. Initially, I had the preferred (Loop 200 or 300) request, but with our 40' was not really sure after reading and seeing. So now, I asked for 700 or 400. Hope I did the right thing. Did I???????????

One important thing to remember is that 100, 200 and 300 are classified as Preferred sites, while 400 and 700 are Premium. That means you actually have to change your reservation from Preferred to Premium (which costs more per night) and not just your site request. Otherwise if you are booked for Preferred you're going to end up in 100, 200 or 300 regardless of what you request.

Also remember that a site request is just that - a request. While Disney does their best to get you the loop/site you request, it isn't always possible and they will not guarantee you any particular site/loop before you arrive.

Thanks! I did actually change the reservation to a Premium site.

I have a 36' toy hauler and my truck is 24' long. I have done prefered many times but this last trip we had premium and it was sooooo much better. I actually had room to park my truck and golf cart.
