Fort Wilderness Campfire Meet

This was a suggestion for a mini meet. Most likely this would be Thursday night, probably starting around 7 or 8:00. TnRobin would be the host. Here's the description she sent me:

Usually the eveing begins with a CM playing sing-a-long campfire songs, Chip and Dale show up for the kids. They have two bonfires and sell marshmellow (and smore kits). After about a hour they start a Disney movie on what looks like a drive in screen.

I'm trying to get a feel for how many might want to do this one. Thanks!!

Here is another idea.

I understand that the Fort Wilderness Campground Trail's End Bufferteria with its beamed ceiling and split rails serve the same meal as they serve for the Hoop-Dee-Doo Muscial Review for a third of the cost.

What ever time or day that is decided on to do the Campfire, maybe some of you would like to eat there before the Campfire minimeet,too.

Just a suggestion. I know that times and days may change...lol.

Ray, we'll be at HDDR on Tuesday...and maybe this would be something we could do after (depending on times)...but I think Barb suggested Thursday night. And you're already hosting the Osbourne Lights tour this night. Am I reading this correctly? Just want to be helpful here.

I am open to any day for the Osborne Lights and any mini-meet.

Except the tea thing...I don't want to go to that. But you could save me one or 20 of those little sandwiches...lol.

And I will follow the "green-gloved Barb" where ever she tells me to go. I'm easy.

I am going to the Hoop-dee-doo on Tueday also. Had we thought of it in advance we could have worked it out. Pat's Hoop-dee-doo meet is scheduled for the 7:15 dining time. The Campfire usually begins around 7:00.

I am open to changes, but I am not sure there is another night that doesn't have an official meet planned.

Althought I would LOVE to do this one, I'd rather save it for a time to do with my family as my daughter (although almost 13) still loves the thought of us maybe being able to do this sometime.

Just a suggestion to be considered.....

Thursday night is a possibility for those who are not attending DaveH's Prime Time mini meet, and who can stand to miss the Osbourne Lights.

--and/or--

Friday night might be a possibility for those who are not 'official' DIS-Con attendees as this will be the Illuminations night.

I know these aren't great ideas, but they are possibilities.

As an offiicial attendee, that did not get to attend last year, I really do not want to miss Friday nights Illumination Dessert thingy.

If Thursday doesn't work out, is there an interest in doing this as a pre-convention thing??? I will be arriving at WDW on Friday.
