I have a couple of questions about the Cabins at FW. What are the best sites? And on my documents, Disney emailed, it shows all the extras that come with the package, does anyone know what the no selection feature would be? Are we supposed to pick something else?

I don't know what the no selection would be but we just stayed at the cabins last year...actually a year ago today. We stayed in loop 2100 (I think it is called Bobcat Bend) we just loved it. We did rent a golf cart, and that helps a lot. But we had a comfort station right behind us (I did have to do a couple of oads of laundry). It was so quiet and we were near an internal bus stop (which helped because we didn't get out cart until the next day). We could walk to the bike barn and the pool with no problem. Also the trading post (I think the big one Meadow's) wasn't too far away.

Have a great trip...you will love the cabins.

I can't wait. I will have to make a request for that loop of cabins then. We will be using our own car for the trips to the parks but the older people in my group will be able to just get on the buses and go where they want.

I just thought it was strange about the "no selection thing" I guess I need to call the Mouse directly

I would also suggest that may want to post in the camping forum here on the Dis. There are many people there who have stayed in the cabins and can offer you additional insights as to which loops to choose, and give you a review of the cabins and campground amenities.

Umm- I am staying at the Cabins in June and just looked at my paperwork - I don't have the same "no selection" because that is where my Dining Plan starts.

Have fun - we were in the 2600 loop when we went with our Golf cart and also drove to all parks except MK - It was a great time

Called Disney and the CM had no idea what the NO SELECTION part was . Sooooooooooo I am still not sure about that.

It's that strange? The CM was as confused as I. She asked if we were celebrating anything, or if it was our first trip, or had we made any special requests? The answer was no to all of the above so she just said "Well, it looks like everything is in order." I am going to call back so I can try to solve this mystery........... If I am to pick something else I would like to know it before I get home and find out.

That is the thing, I didn't pick any of that. Go figure. I hope I get an answer too. Either way we are going back to Disney .

You are going to love the cabins!! I stayed there last year and I was also an intern there. That no selection I would assume is just an error on Disney's part. It probably isn't supposed to be there. The only thing I would reccomend for the cabins would be to either request a golf cart or request a cabin that is close to the bus stops like at the end of the loop not in the back or middle. Have a magical time!

In my case then, that would make some sense. Even though I made the ressies well before the we knew that 2009 was going to be a "celebration" year, they asked if we would be celebrating anything, and we are: my birthday.
