Fort Wilderness cabin - parking question

It has been years since we have been to Disney, and even longer since we stayed at the cabins. The last time we did, you parked right at the cabin. No fee. We brought our own golf cart last time, and there was enough room for both right in front of the cabin - with the cart on a charger. But I was reading that there is now a $19 a night charge, as it is a moderate resort? Is that correct? Is this new-ish? Do you no longer park right outside the cabin?

The cabins are our favorite place. Yes they charge for parking now. I don’t remember the amount, but you still park outside the cabin. I hope you have an awesome time when you go.

Yes, it's now $20 per night on the Cabins at FW website:

See the Parking Section

WDW charges parking per night (based on level of resort) for all its hotel properties (guests in the campsites at FW do not) which were all implemented at the same time in 2018 (the original cabin parking fee in 2018 was $19).

Staying at FW cabins soon. When we take the boat to MK, is there somewhere I can park my car near the dock/Settlement so I don't have to walk/bus from the cabins?

No walking to the boat dock / settlement is your solution unless you have a golf cart.

Dave is correct except he forgot the comma which made it seem like there was no walking to the boat dock. You can bike there as well.
(I'm not the grammar police Dave but I was confused when I first read your response).
