My kids...DD 21, DDBF, DD11 and DH52 LOL want to go to epcot the day after our cruise. We LOVE fort wilderness. If we arrive early like 8:00 AM can we check in at the fort park our car in the parking lot at resort check in get our kttw cards and then head over to Epcot? Maybe enjoy some of the resort amenities, busses, etc.? It sure would make a lovely ending to our special trip.

We have arrived at 7am before and our camp site was not ready. So we waited in the overflow parking lot. We were able to check in we just could not go to our site. They gave us a card with a number to call to see when it would be ready. But if they have a cabin open I thank they would let you check in.

They may very well let you check in at 8am, even if their isnt a cabin available(which is pretty unlikely depending on when this is happening), but I would call the Fort, not CRO, and ask them how they usually handle this situation and if your plan will work.

I consider check-in to be the process of finalizing the paper work at the Outpost for your stay at FW. With that in mind, you can check-in at 8:00AM and even if the cabin is not ready you will still receive your kttw cards and you should then park your car in the big lot and start your stay.
