So we will be down from nov. 30- dec10th. This will be our first time seeing all the christmas stuff at the fort. When does it get into full swing? And does anyone know when the castle display is put up? 30 more days and doing the happy dance!!!!!!!!:banana::banana::santa::santa:

I'm not sure when the display goes up but I would certainly love to see it.
My family will be staying in the cabins from December 17th until December 27th. My youngest DD & I will be going to Disney to spend Christmas with oldest DD who is in the DCP. We've rented a golf cart from Kenny. We have tickets to the last MVMCP. My youngest DD loves smores so she plans to regularly visit the Chip & Dale Sing A Long & take smores fixings. We plan to decorate the outside of our cabin & are anxious to visit all the decorated camp sites. :santa:

They are putting up lights on castle now, we went same time year before last if I remember the Mvmcp started Nov 10th. They switch over starting today Nov 1. It takes a few days to be all complete..

We are going Dec 14th to the 21st. Staying at the cabins. Also GC rented from Kenny. Can't wait.

We will be there from Dec 2 - Dec 16. Like to stay in 1100 loop if we can. Trying to come up with some creative ways to decorate this year. We were never one of the over the too ones but now I am worried about any decorations being "a violation"!:scared1:

Everyone remember your Disboards sign so we will know ya!

Ya'll need to find other DIS'sers by putting out our sign.

There is a graphic in our sticked FAQ thread.

See post #3.

The lime green Mickey Head is a DIS-wide symbol. Whether it's the DIS Dining Board, the Resorts Board, Creative DISsigns Board, you'll see it all over. Even in the parks. The Camping Board has customized it with Musket Mickey.

At a minimum, opposite click the graphic and print it. Stick it in the window of your trailer/rv so folks can see it from the road at your site and others can find you.

More over, you can write your user name under Musket Mickey or do it with a Disney font.

Good luck!

Bama ED

PS-like PrincessNP has in her signature line.

Happy Birthday, Happy Anniversary and Merry Christmas. You should attend the MVMCP, it's wonderful.

I am pretty sure we will go to MVMCP. It will be a good time to try it out since its only the 2 of us. We are celebrating 19yrs of marriage and we went to Disney on our honeymoon! It was not a great trip hahaha. We stayed in my grandparents camper at a near by campground not the fort. HAHHAH anyway we had septic trouble the entire time..and didnt have a clue how to fix it. :rotfl:

Ok we are not going to MVMCP. I can't stomach the price:sick:. Although, HDDR is probably more and I am going there. It just seems a little lame to me. Maybe I am missing something.

3 days left!!! We started packing, double checked all reservations, got lights to hang on our golf cart from Kenny and for our cabin. Can not wait any longer!!!:santa::santa:

Just got back today. We arrived at 1:05pm with onle one van ahead of us at the check in line. I did the online check in and it took all of 4 min. ( took longer because she had to go across to another booth to get print outs).

We got the loop 800 that we requested and I actually got a better site for our new 5'er than I had requested. :) Made a note of that site number for future requests. :) I don't think anyone should worry to much about the decorations, I saw at least 4 sites that had a very elaborate display that in no possible way could have fit within their site boundaries. And Thank goodness...I say phewy on those rules anyway.

It seemed like to me that at this point the 1600-and 1800 loopers over the weekend won for most participation as far as decorating their sites went (in my opionion). I even got to see LornaDuck's site, but nobody was there as I looped by on my bike.

I was very dissapointed in my loop 800 group, only a couple of people even made an effort, but I am hoping as most people checked out today that more loop 800er's will check in and dig out some Christmas stuff. For goodness sakes, we need to add to the atomsphere for the carriage ride folks who on Staurday looped through at least three different times. :)
I was only there for two nights, but even I brought to Mickey blow ups and a handful of Mickey lighted decorations.

Ya'll should have a great time at the Fort, the decorations that were already there were really good.
The biggest display's of holiday decorations when I was there this weekend could be found at loop 1100, Loop 1600, Loop 700 and loop 400. Most of them seem like folks I have seen before there, but I didn't remember the display on the loop 400 which was a set up as a small walk through just off the sidewalk from the main road and even computerized to music. Could be that they were there last year, but I went on the Disney Wonder instead for the holidays last year.
Anyway, lots of great T-shirts, car magnet and even a flimsy license plate cover ($7.95, I couldn't resist) for Fort Merchandise. I was disspaointed that no new Christmas ornaments were out though for the Fort. So, if anyone sees one let me know. ;)

Have fun at the Fort...you can beat the holidays at Disney. :)
May all your wishes come true!

PS
I took pictures of the Fort Merchandise, but I need to figure out how to post them.
