Fort to boardwalk

Hey everyone!

We will be staying at the fort for the first time in October. We would like to visit the boardwalk area and I was wondering what the best way to get there is from the fort is? Bus?

You could take a bus to Downtown Disney and then transfer to the Boardwalk bus or take the boat to the magic kingdom and then transfer to a bus to Boardwalk.
Typically we drive if we go to Boardwalk or the Yacht and beach club. there may be a bus from the Fort that has the Boardwalk as one of its stops similar to the ones that go to Typhoon lagoon. I would suggest calling the Fort and asking or asking when you check in.

I would take a bus to Hollywood Studios, then catch a boat to the boardwalk.

Or if you are at Epcot you can walk out the back door in world showcase and catch a boat or walk there.

Or you could boat to Magic Kingdom and catch a bus to the Boardwalk. Timewise that might be your best option, especially if you are in a loop near the marina.

You can catch a boat from Hollywood Studios without going through security. The boat stops at all the hotels in the boardwalk area.

Of course you have to talk a bus to Hollywood first.

OR, once at DHS just follow the signs to The Boardwalk. It's a 20 stroll or a 15 minute walk along the canal. Very easy to do.
