Does anyone here collect the FW Trading Pins? I've tried to collect the holiday one's since Thanksgiving is a favorite time for us. I've got about 13 pins if you include the couple River Country one's I've got. There was a poster here that had a framed collection but I can't find that link. I need about 7 more to complete the one's released. There's a couple CM one's that are few and far between that I haven't been able to get.

I have your man card if you are trying to collect that back.

Here is a link to the post thread that you were thinking of:

Our "History of FW Pins" Display

For those of you who don't want to click on the link, here are some photos from that thread:

I met the man who collected these (Musikfans) last Halloween at the Fort.

Nice guy.

I only collect FW pins. I have only been doing it for about 2 years now, and I don't have many. You mentioned a list of the ones released, where can I find that list? I would like to see which ones there are.

Can you get a Ft. Wilderness Pin at Ft. Wilderness? We started a landyard for my daughter and I would love for her to get one from Ft. Wilderness since this is her first visit.

Thanks!!

Yes, there are big pin displays in each of the Trading Posts, and you can buy a Ft. Wilderness pin there. The Settlement Trading Post also sells Hoop Dee Doo Review and Backyard BBQ pins.

Is there anyplace you can buy old FW pins? We were there in 2007 and I almost bought one with the year on it, but didn't. Every since I've had not buyers remorse. Is there a place to get a FW pin with the year 2007 on it?

Donnie, don't worry - it's okay. Pete has no one to play Barbie with him. If he get's cranky he's probably headed for Facebook next.

Been offline for some time now because we couldn't do a Fort trip. I've started gearing up for a March 30th weeklong trip now and the whole family is VERY excited.

I have kept up with new offerings and now have every pin released by WDW that relates to the Fort including MBBBQ,HDDR,Water Pageant,River Country. I think there are about 45 give or take a couple. I use www.pinpics.com to gather lists and Ebay almost exclusively to buy them. I traded a few and bought some at WDW while present.

TCD - I do remember meeting you on the dock. At the time I was desperately looking for one pin. A TCD cast member recognition pin:

This was my Holy Grail. During that Halloween trip (Oct 2009). I even asked at the Ranch about the pin. I probably even asked you but I don't remember. I finally snagged it off Ebay after watching literally for 18 mos. You can bet that pin is prominently displayed in the center of my display.:lovestruc

Anyway, the gang is gearing up to be at the Fort and we're very excited. I know all the pins very well now and can tell anyone which ones are hard to find and about what they should pay for them on Ebay.

See ya'll at the Fort.

Congratulations on finding that missing pin. I bet when you finally saw it on ebay you knew you weren't going to be denied. :lmao:

Good luck on your upcoming trip and tell us about it when you get back.

We ought to have a bunch of Trip Reports showing up when we roll into March.

My dad collects fort pins as well. He still needs like 3 pins to complete the full hoop dee doo, river country, backyard bbq and fw pins.
