Thanks Frank! Just got back and we did have fun! First day not so much, but the next day was a beauty! No fish were caught by me or DS (we did try and had fun doing it). DB caught 2 that were so small they couldn't even swallow the whole worm! In fact we should have used them to go for a larger fish! There were a few bass jumping outta the water yesterday! Too bad they didn't jump on our hooks! Maybe next time.

DAVEINTN QUOTE: My girls have their first swim meet of the season today. Our community pool and clubhouse were severely damaged in the Nashville flooding last month, and the pool finally opened for practice a couple weeks ago. So, our team (which is just a team made up of kids in our subdivision) is competing today against a good Country Club team from Nashville, with very little time to prepare.

This is not going to end well!

BUT, DD12 and DD14 are so excited! And, this is DD14's first meet ever...she just took up swimming this year. I'm so proud of her that she is putting herself "out there" and taking this up at her age...when most of the swimmers have been competing for years. And she has a great attitude. She has pointed out that the top finishers get blue, yellow and silver medals, and it goes down from there to the "prettier" colors. And she would rather have a pretty ribbon than a blue one! She's an awesome kid!

Way to go TN girls! Win or lose isn't the important issue anyway. I'd rather have a pretty color too! Great girls w/great attitudes it sounds like! Somebody's raisin' 'em right!

I haven't got her car fixed yet, so lotta good that's going to do her

That's how you do it. Get her the license and then keep the car in disrepair! Good one! I'm gonna file that one away for the day DS wants HIS DL!

Are you refering to corn from the Zellwood Sweet Corn Festival? We went few weeks ago. I think I had 10 ears, I might be exaggerating though. It's like fishing. Except for the thunder storm, it was a fun time. How is it that you know about it way up there in TN?
