I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.
I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.
The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do
They're really saying I love you.
I hear babies crying, I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll never know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself what a wonderful world.
Every time I hear this song, it makes me wanna be at the Fort,,maybe sittn on the porch inna rocker.
The line in the song "They'll learn much more than I'll never know" always strikes me. The kids these days WILL need to know more by the time they get into High School than we needed to know to graduate. I ain't just talking bout readin, rittin or rithmiticin neither.
Now if we can just give em a work ethic it would it might just benifit them.
Dave, I think Lisa is right, we got over 2' of snow, and I am looking out the window and it is snowing AGAIN!!!!
I didn't think we would get Erica's car out of the garage for a LONG LONG time, but the neighbor came up with his skidsteer, and moved the 6' high drifts for us!!!
I think we're gonna get hit hard this time..since we dodged the bullet last week.

I've got to get my mom over to see her brother in the nursing home/rehab today. He broke his leg and had some surgery.
