Morning all.

Have fun with your practice trip to the Fort Deb. Remember... I live vicariously
through you, so I expect an update with all the details!

I've already been to JFK airport this morning. Droped off my son..he'll be arriving in Sarasota around 10:00 am! Spending the week in Anna Maria. He's talked Bob and I into joining him mid week.
Since he's payin'...we're taking him up on the offer! It wasn't easy, but I've convinced Bob that his recovery requires a few days in the warm Florida sunshine! ssst:...now if he's feeling up to it..I'd love to squeeze in a day visit to Epcot for Flower and Garden...we'll see.)

Phyllis - I KNOW how much you enjoy A.M.I. We need the rain desperately, but there is none in the forcast so you will have great weather. Just a warning however....I've started seeing some love bugs (or as I call them....yuk bugs). Fortunately, they don't seem to be as bad at the beach as they are on the mainland.

I second the fact that Bob needs some time on the beautiful west coast Florida beaches to hasten his recovery!!

Morning everyone! I am recovering from yet another day trip to Disney yesterday... these "Sunday Drives" are killing me but its worth it!

Matts been working a lot of OT and needed to get some extra sleep, so I loaded up the boys and we hit Sea World in the morning then over to the Fort for dinner and caught the boat to Magic Kingdom for a few hours... had everyone home and in bed by 3am Though the boys slept the entire way home- I need a nap!

Morning all!

Ya know..everyday my daughter greets us with.."Good morning Freaks" when she see's Bob and I.....What's THAT about? I ask you..is that anyway to talk to your parents? I mean who looks that good before coffee anyway?...I better check the mirror...I think things are getting worse.

Tomorrow morning at this time, Bob and I will be on a plane headed for Tampa..then off to Anna Maria Island for some time in the WARM Florida sun. I tell ya..a month ago, I didn't think I'd be saying that.
Heck..a week ago Bob didn't even want to go. ( some pressure(a.k.a. guilt) from our older son, along with some damp weather here, and wallah!...I'm printing boarding passes! Damn..this wand is good.

Well, we made it to Wednesday!!

Phyllis should be on her way to Tampa today to spend some time at the lovely Anna Maria Island. Here's to Phyllis and Bob soaking up the rays on a beautiful beach!

Oh! We actually had a decent rainstorm last night for about an hour!

Decent rain storm for a hour !?!?! How bout we had a week of rain, and now we get another week of rain ! Our grass was already half way up to my knee,,yesterday I cut our grass,,it was like cutting a giant bowl of green noodle soup !

Morning all!

Hey guys, thanks for thinking of us.
Bob and I are here in Anna Maria. Weather is really lovely. It was cold and raining when we left NY. Warm Flroida sun is VERY much appreciated. I'm sitting outside on the deck of our unit enjoying my morning coffee, while looking out into the Bay, watching the bridge go up..and traffic stop for sail boats to pass under. Gotta love it

Bob is doing well, sleeping in this morning..he can use the rest. We left our house at 5:30 am yesterday..so was a long day...but WELL worth it to be here! I'm so glad my son talked us into coming for a few days.

Good Morning!! It's Friday!!

I actually slept in until 8:30; something I haven't done in about a year or so!

No real plans for the day except to take each moment as it hits me.

Summer has hit Florida - it's getting into the low to mid-90's every day now. Blech! We still need rain desperately.
