My cousin and I were in there one year when the carousel broke down, but the show went on....

At least the portion we were in. It was the spring portion.

The animatronic man used to say..."Well, the robins are back....sure sign of spring." We must have heard that 10 times before the carousel was up and running again. After a while we were howling w/laughter and saying the lines along with him.

That was over 20 years ago and to this day, at the first sighting of a robin.....we say "Well, the robins are back....sure sign of spring".

Go ahead, sing away. What's one more time of it's a Small World. It's part of the background music play list from the resorts to the MK. Any guesses on how many times it comes on in the course of a day. But believe it or not, I don't dislike it.
My fav is "When You Wish Upon a Star". Can you sing that one for us KFK?
And how about this scenario? It's night time and the MK is open late. You're on the bus heading to the MK just after the toll plaza, the MK fireworks starts and "When You Wish Upon a Star" comes on over the PA.
I'll work a night now and then at MK, in fact I'll be there tomorrow night, and it has happened to me a few times. Guests lucky enough to be on the bus at that time really get a kick out of it. They think it's pre-arranged, but it's a rare occurance when the bus is at the right place, the fireworks are going, and the song is playing. It's magical, even for me.

I have no idea how many times Small World plays on the WDW buses in a day. Probably a gazillion. I like it too. It's a very nice song.


Wow! Talk about a magical moment!

Being on a WDW bus on the way to MK,

fireworks booming in the sky and Wish Upon A Star comes on the PA.

I am just trying to put myself there and take it all in.

Don't think I'd ever get tired of that.
