Are any of you involved in the class action settlement against American Home Products? If so, have you received any compensation? I have been getting things in the mail regarding this for several years now and have always provided the documentation requested but have yet to have anything come to fruition.

When I had an echocargiogram done in the past, it indicated I had regurgitation in three of the four heart valves. That was really scary. I have had another one since and it appears the valves have returned to normal. There is still some slight regurgitation, but not enough to be compensated for. That was fine with me as I just wanted to have a healthy heart.

Anyway, at this point, I think all I qualify for is reimbursement for the cost of the drug itself.

Anyone else going through this at all?

I know my Step-SIL was involved in a lawsuit with this and all she thought she might get back was the cost of the drugs and she just told us about a month ago that she recieved nearly $5000.00 as a settlement. I don't know who she was in contact with though. If you would like me to ask her, I will give a call to her.
