Hey guys,

I just finished my spring advantage last fall, and I'm wondering if anyone knows if we can still stay on as seasonal and still get the annual blue pass.
Hopefully I'm going to come back this summer as a PI, but since I'm only 1.5 away from Disney I'd love to come back during the spring for some of the events, like Star Wars Weekends or ESPN the weekend.

Thanks!!

I'm pretty sure when you stay on as seasonal you get a blue pass in the mail.

I'll be there that weekend too. I'm seasonal on the schedule, however, I still have to talk to my managers.

I was a CPer and automatically was placed as Seasonal when I finished my first one in 1998. I went back twice on other CPs and my employment was considered active by HR... I called the Employment Verification line when I was doing research for goverment clearance and they listed me as employed from 1998-2000. I am not sure the process for transferring from your current position (talk with casting) but I had friends who just called their old bosses and got a new temp ID and scheduled.

Not sure what a Blue pass is... They didn't have those when I was there... What are they?

I just happen to be in an almost exact situation as you, and can hopefully answer your question. After I finished my CP, I became seasonal. I still get Blue Passes and the winter/summer comp tickets, as well as the Holiday Celebration packet. Seasonal has all the same benefits as far as discounts go as the CP does. Going to a PI from Seasonal is considered a 'role change', so seniority, experience, and your record card all carry over. The PI also issues a blue pass. For all PI applications, go to disneycareers.com, click on openings on the left, highlight the field you want (ex. Disney Parks and Resorts), and type 'internship' under keyword. You'll still need a cover letter and resume, even if you are still seasonal. Hope that covers everything!
