Formal wear panic!!

Hi,
We are heading on our first Disney cruise on the fantasy soon. We are dining in Palo one night & I also heard there is a noes formal night. What is the dress code? Do you need a suit or will tailored shorts do? Us Scots usually wear kilts on formal occasions! Bit heavy for travel though ;-)

Dress code for Palo:
To preserve the elegant atmosphere, you are asked to adhere to a strict dress code when dining at Palo. Dress pants and shirt are required for men and a dress or pantsuit is required for women. Please no jeans, shorts, capri pants, flip-flops or tennis shoes.

Beyond that, there's no real "dress code" for the MDRs. Yes, there is a formal, and semi-formal night, but you'll see all manner of dress from fancy dress to tee shirts and shorts (even on formal night).

I've see kilts before, also.
