Anyone know a good site for fancy/frilly formal wear for an 8 month old? I would like to get her something ruffly and frilly for formal night!

StoryBook Heirlooms has frilly stuff - also since it is close to Easter I bet the frilly dresses are starting to hit the shelves.

We bought DS' tux on eBay, he was 5 months for our first cruise. Will need to do the same for the Repo next year.

We were looking for a fancy dress for our dd for formal night and I was delighted to find so many to choose from in all the stores now. The Easter dresses are out!!! We found a beautiful line of dresses at TJ Maxx called the Cinderella brand. They had so many colors to choose from and they are so pretty. The best part was the dress looks like it is worth $100.00 or more and we got it for $29.99. Gotta love TJ Maxx!!!

We also saw some pretty formal type Easter dresses at Target, Sears, JC Penny, Kohl's etc...

I would go out and look now since the selection is so good!

Good luck!!!

I have bought the Cinderella brand for DD before, they are a really nice dress - Burlington Coat Factory also carries them and they are generally $29.99

Looks like you aren't going until Oct. I would wait until after Easter. I got a great dress for DD last year for like $5! Same with Christmas dresses. I'm not one for spending a lot of money on something like that though.

I assume if you want fancy and frilly you are looking for a girl. In that case, I agree with Tarabra. My sister just bought 4 Easter dresses for DNiece 10 months old at Babies R US. They were all so cute she couldn't decide. Mom and me voted for our favorite today. She paid $25 each and they'll be on clearance after Easter. Not sure about Easter but believe it or not, at Christmas time I saw beautiful dresses at Walmart and KMart. Very reasonable prices, you may want to look there. Around $15 and every bit as cute as the Von Maur dress that cost my sis about $50. The Cinderella brand dresses at TJ Max (mentioned by PP) are cute AND they often come with a matching dress for an 18 inch baby doll (at least the older girls dresses do).

Boys are harder. Macy's has suits but they are boring IMHO and over-priced. Try E-bay for tuxes and sailor suits. Strasburg and Wooden Soldier are darling but pricey.
