On formal and semi-formal night, do people stay dressed up all night, or can you change after dinner? Also, is a denim skirt OK for semi-formal night for a 14 yr. old, or is it a little more dressy?

We went back to our cabin and changed after dinner, of course we had second seating. We had all our photos taken before dinner.
