formal nights on western...

i'm sure this has been asked and answered, but can anyone tell me which nights are the formal nights and tropical night on the western?

Formal night is Monday (regular dining rotation).
MEXICALI night is Wednesday, while you're in Cozumel.
Semi-formal night (with the Captain's Gala menu) is Thursday.

dave...how does one dress for mexicali night?

Im planning on dressing the same way I would have for tropical night on the Eastern
tropical shirt, white pants, tuiti fruiti beads (gold, green, purple)
ever see the pics of the characters w/their tropical costumes?

Yes....everyone onboard even all the crew and the characters dress in tropical wear. It is really a fun evening with tropical lei's on the table at dinner and don't miss out on the great deck party at night...2 hours of non stop dancing fun....limbo, conga lines, etc!!!

If you are really not into that type of party, is it a good night to choose to go to Palos?

I don't want to miss the semi or formal regular dining (I want to do that with the family). So, since I'm not into the big party thing, sounds like it would be great to go to Palos.
