is there a formal night on the wonder 3 night cruise? what is the recommended tips for the 3 night cruise? thank you.

Is it casual all 3 nights? Our plans were skirts, capri pants for the ladies and slacks and button down or polo shirts for the men for AP and PC. I was under the impression that Tritons was a dressy night. My DD and I were going to wear dresses (nothing super fancy, but not real casual either) and DH and DS were contemplating whether to pack jackets or just shirt/tie....It certainly would save some room in the wardrobe/suitcase to not have to pack suits....I also know that DH and DS would much prefer the slacks and buttons down to shirt/tie....

Thanks!

Suggested Tipping for 3 night Wonder:

Dining Room Server 11.00
Dining Room Asst. Server 8.00
Dining Room Head Server 2.75
Stateroom Host/Hostess 10.75

These are per person, including children.

Anyone know about formal attire on the 3 day????

There are no formal or semi-formal nights on the 3 or 4 night Wonder.

I guess I don't have to pack the suits and ties....We'll go with casual (but not too casual!)

DH will definately be happier, always more comfortable in slacks and polo. DS (11) will probably be disappointed (strange for an 11 yr old), he doesn't have many opportunities to wear the jacket and tie, I think it makes him feel grown up.....I'm sure he'll get over it though...lol

There are no official formal or semi-formal nights on the Wonder but we dressed up every night for dinner! It just made it more fun for us! That included our DS who was 10 at the time and DD who was 8. And I did see some ladies in long, evening gowns at Tritons, but I also saw a lot of casual dress there too! I think you just wear what you feel comfortable in as long as you don't violate the dress code re shorts and Tshirts (although we saw those in all of the restaurants as well!). My husband wore a suit with a tie on most nights and felt very comfortable. But again, you should wear what you want to wear!

disneyagain, it sounds as if you and DD want to 'dress up' some for Triton's and I say GO FOR IT!

DD and I dress up whenever there's an opportunity, and what better place (while on vacation) than a cruise!:D

Ok, now I am confused again. In another thread, someone wrote that there is not a formal night on the 3 night, but is a formal night on the 4 night cruise. On this thread, someone posted that there is no formal night on either. HELP! We have been on cruises beofre (not on Disney, and before kids) and have loved dressing up, so either way it doesn't matter to us. We will definitely "dress" for dinner, but just not sure if we need formal attire or not?
Anyone???

There was no formal night on our 4 night wonder, however, a jacket and tie was suggested for Tritons, and if you choose to dine at Palo, the same applies. I wore casual dresses every night, and a nicer dress for Palo. DH wore nice polo styles every night, except for Palo, where he wore a sport coat and tie...(he wore pants all nites as well!) My best suggestion would be to visit www.castawayclub.com (the "all inclusive resource", IMHO! ) and read through the 3 and or 4 night navigators she has posted. On the second or third page of each day, it lists the recommended dress.
