I keep seeing references to formal night pictures. Can someone explain how or when these are taken. Is there a long line? Any tips on making this a smooth, easy and painless process. Thank you.

Most evenings there will be photo locations set up (mostly around the atrium). Yes, there can be lines. Or not.

Sometimes the locations will have characters at them. Sometimes it's just you.

In most cases there is a CM assisting the photographer who will use your camera to take your picture if you ask.
