There's been an "Optional Dress Up" night in the past on a 6 night cruise.

Formal night and Semi-formal night are on the 7+ day sailing. The other shorter cruises have an optional dress-up night.

Formal night and Semi-formal night are on the 7+ day sailing. The other shorter cruises have an optional dress-up night.

And even on a 7-night you do not HAVE to dress formally or semi-formally.

Just like on a cruise without them you do not have to dress Cruise casual. If you want to haul ball gowns and wear them, no one will stop you.

That would be me. I love dressing up. When we traveled with our "kids" (adults, really) we all wore gowns and gloves. My daughter & I had tiaras.
