I have an 11 year old boy. Just wondering what others his age have worn for these two nights. Thanks.

My DS who was 7 at the time wore a pair of slacks and a shirt and tie for formal night and slacks and a shirt for semi-formal. And that is what the majority wore also. If they don't won't to wear a tie then a vest is fine too.
I hope this helps.

My son is also 11 and he also just wore a dress shirt and tie with nice pants for formal night and a button up shirt and nice khakis for semi-formal night. Most of the boys his age were similarly dressed if they dressed up at all. I only saw suits and tuxes on some of the really young boys (under 5).

My DSs, 5 & 8 wore black suits for formal night. On semi formal night they went to the club and DH and I went to Palo. :)

DS wore the same dark blue suit & tie for both nights on our 11/03 & 12/04 cruises. He was 5 & 6 then. He loves getting dressed up.

My son is 15. For our upcoming November cruise I decided we'd like to dress
up for the formal and semi-formal nights. I found him a tuxedo online, jr. boys size for about $60. It came with the shirt, bow tie, jacket, vest, and
pants! I doubt it is paying much more than to rent one! He loves how he looks in it.
Also, for the semi-formal night, he just went to a semi-formal dance earlier this year and still has his pants, shirt, tie and suit jacket.

I'm sure a lot of pre-teen and teen boys won't be doing all this but if you're interested you should at least check out those prices for boys tuxedos at
tuxgear.com.
