formal and semi formal night

Hello i was wondering if anyone knows what night semi and formal night is? I am on the 7 night western in sept. thanks. Also i has anyone ever booked palo's on one of these nights?

On the Western, Formal night is Monday, and Semi-Formal is Thursday. I, personally, have not done Palo on either of these nights. But we sailed with some friends last November and they did book Palo for Formal night. I think DH and I might try for a Formal night ressie for our upcoming November cruise. HTH!
