Forgot to bank - what now?!

I have 4 points left for the first time and I forgot to bank on 10/31!!! Didn't realize until a few minutes ago. What do you recommend I do?

I can't believe I forgot to do this. We've been going back and forth if we will use it in Dec or Feb but it looks like it will be used in May instead. Sigh!

Not even worth a second thought. 4 points bought via one-time-use is only $60. There are parking tickets that cost more than that. Chalk it up to a brain fart, and make sure to watch your deadline more closely next time. Hakuna matata.

Sometimes, members need just a few points. Since the points aren't banked, they could be transferred. You may be able to recover a few dollars for them by transferring or if you decide to "give" them away, you might make someone very happy.

If you meet the qualifications (click here to see what they are) to post on the DIS DVC Rent/Trade Board, you can offer to transfer them there. Recipients can bank points they receive via transfer.

Other than that, you just have to let them go.

Agreed, not worth wasting your 1 time "exception" on 4 points.

Maybe you could find a member who needs 4 extra points, but that would mean using up your 1 annual transfer .........not sure if its worth that either (unless you know you will not need it).

I believe 4mos prior to use year. Our use year is March so need to bank by 10/31

If you can spare the transfer I'd put them up for private sale. You never know when someone might need/want a couple extra. Turn the cash into a Disney gift card (for MF or next visit) if you want, at least that way is maintains its original purpose.
