Forgot our member cards.......is this a problem?

We are a few days away from an Aulani stay as we are spending time with the parents at their Wyndham resort in Kauai before heading to Oahu. I forgot the dvc cards at home. Will we need them at Aulani? Many thanks in advance for your answers.

I wouldn't think that you would need your card. The resort doesn't need it when you check in and at WDW I have never used it.

The only time I used it in 8 years is to get the DVC discounts on dining. Never needed it at the hotels.

I needed it when I rented a cabana and wanted the DVC discount. They asked to see my card. Not sure why as my room key said DVC member but nonetheless they asked. Also, if you want to by DVC specific pins at the store you have to show your member card.

you need it for any DVC only pins or..... well... hmm can't remember anything else we needed it for specifically

If you need it, I think the resort can give you a temporary one.

We did the same thing on our trip to Aulani a couple of weeks ago. We didn't really need it until the wife wanted to get the special edition (exclusive for DVC) Aulani pins. They wanted to see our DVC card. Long story short...I went to the DVC member area in Aulani "just past the front desk" and they printed me one. And its not temporary, its an actual plastic card.
