Forgot my package pick up... :-(

Sorry if this posted in the wrong place...
The day we checked out was a bit crazy & I forgot to pickup a package I had purchased at Epcot& sent back to the resort. Anyone know how I can retrieve my package & have it sent to me? I called the resort and they connected me to the wrong place TWICE! I also called the 877 number on the merchandise slip and ey are closed (honestly i think the number they list there is if u want to purchase more stuff?)
Can anyone help me?

Which resort were you staying at?

Have you tried calling the shop at the resort where the package may have been delivered to?

Yes, you should call the gift shop of the resort you were staying at.
 
I a sure they will be able to get it to you. You might have to pay for shipping though.
 

I stayed at BWV. I called the hotel main number & explained m situation. They connected me to the 877 number which is closed on the weekend.
I called the BW main number again got a different person. They didnt k ow who to connect me to. I asked for Character Carnival which is the gift shop where u pick up packages, but they aLso connected me to the 877 number...
Frustrating...
 
Maybe you could ask them to transfer you to the Screen Door or Thimbles and Threads as they are all connected in one store area and many of the CM's float around the whole store. I wouldn't even bother telling the switchboard CM why you are calling, just ask to be transferred.

When you call the listed main hotel # you are actually connecting to a call center. I would ask for the Boardwalk front desk.

I would wait until Monday morning and try the 877 number during business hours. That is probably the mail order merchandise line. They should be able to look-up the purchase--communicating with resort staff if necessary--and coordinate shipping identical items out to you.

Disney does its best to keep phone calls from going into the resorts themselves. That's why we don't have front desk Cast Members or store clerks leaving us waiting to answer a ringing phone. They handle such issues behind the scenes and let the front line CMs service the live guests waiting for assistance.
 
Last year, five days after we got home my daughter decides to finally start unpacking and she realized she did not have her two items she bought from Harry Potter. They were left in a draw at WLVs since my dh had put them there, I had no idea, even though we should have all checked every draw and closet the way I normally do. Anyway - I called WLVs and they in turn transferred me to a different area - can't remember the name now - I want to say lost and found?, but housekeeping turned it in and it was mailed back to us without any charge on our part. I am sure if the packaged was never picked up, more or less the same routine might apply.
