Forgot AP Card and Magicband. Worth a Shore Excursion?

So we’re on a cruise leaving today stopping in Port Canaveral. Arriving 1pm and departing 9pm. All I have is my phone with MDE to prove my and DH AP. Will we be able to get into the parks? Is it worth the drive or should we just go to Kennedy Space Center?

You can get a free ticket card at any ticket booth or guest Relations to use at the parks for entry and FP+, etc.

You can still get into the parks, but the port is about an hour and 45 minutes from Disney. I'd go to Kennedy

You'd have to drive really slow to stretch that drive into an hour and 45 minutes. It's less than 70 miles.

As long as you have ID you can get a replacement AP, use it for entry and FP+.

As long as you have photo ID (passport or driver's license) you can get a new AP card issued.

I thought that most Disney Magic cruises that make a port call at PC include a 1-day ticket to WDW?

Aw Have you been to KSC before? If you've never seen a Shuttle orbiter up close, I'd say that's worth more than half a day at a Disney park you've seen many times. But I'm kind of a space nerd.

Eh. We've been to the Kennedy Space Center, and also the Johnson Space Center in Houston. The one in Houston is much better. I'd rather be at Disney too!

The one in Houston is cute, but it doesn't have a real orbiter and the Saturn V is not displayed nearly as well. Not to mention all the other rockets that KSC has. Again, though, space nerd talking. OP can obviously make her own decision.

Ok, let me rephrase that. I've visited almost every NASA visitor center, and IMO, JSC ranks third. I like the ISS and Skylab exhibits, but KSC is best IMO.
