Forgot $150 gift cards at home-sell them?

I had 3 $50 Disney gift cards I was going to put on our onboard account when we got on the ship 6/27. Well, I forgot them at home. Chances are we're not doing another cruise or WDW for years, if not ever again due to the increasing prices. I also don't want to just buy stuff I'll never use from the website.

Is there a way to sell these so I don't lose out on the $142 I paid for them? Are there websites for this?

There is a machine in our local grocery store, similar to the ones where you can put in all your change, that take gift cards and give you cash. I've never used them, so I don't know what kind of fees are associated or if they take Disney cards.

Bummer! You can sell them on Raise.com but you won't get the full $142 back. When you go to the Sell gift cards part of the site, it will show you how much you'll be paid off the sale.

Do you know any family members/friends who may be doing a Disney Trip and would trade cash for the gift cards?

I would have a tough time buying a gift card off of a stranger. You can't tell if they are used and the buyer would be taking a huge risk (you're honest and the gift cards are unused; unfortunately, there are many people looking to make a quick buck and aren't so honest).

I think you best bet is to put the word out among friends and family that you have some $50 Disney gift cards that you're looking to sell for $47 each. Someone may know someone who would trust you to make the deal.

If you can't find a friend or family member to buy them you can sell them on Raise.com as a PP said or even EBay. I often see Disney gift cards sell there for close to full value so if you paid $47 each you may get your $ back, minus sellers fees and shipping. Since it's not too much in gift cards, are you sure you won't be able to use them over time? Maybe buying holiday or birthday gifts or something? I hate to see you lose anything on them. I sure understand how it is to leave gift cards behind though - I never seem to have them with me when I need them!

Can you use them to buy something at the Disney store or Disney.com? Christmas presents, perhaps?
